My weight loss results after 20 weeks

In September of last year I signed up for the 20/20 program at the Pro Club, a 25 week weight-loss program that includes personal training, dietitian appointments and even group therapy (yay!). Well, I’m pretty much wrapped up on the program, and a few weeks ago they had me in to take measurements and a photo… they took a photo at the beginning as well, so we end up with the classic before and after comparision.

Overall I lost 30 pounds, but that is only one number… I dropped six inches around my waist (so none of my pants fit), my bad cholesterol went down, my good cholesterol went up… blood pressure dropped… nothing but good stuff.

I’ll be posting some other details over time, about the program and about what I’m doing now for exercise and diet, but if you’re interested in specific details about anything, just post a comment to let me know.

  1. That’s excellent, Duncan! I lost 30 pounds over the last 6 months but don’t think the change is as pronounced as yours. That’s cool that you took a “before” snapshot.

    How much more are you looking to lose?

    Im on week 48 of Nutrisystem myself and am a bit more than halfway to my goal and have having the same joys as you of realizing that so many beloved clothes no longer fit… and then the horror of the cost of replacement later.

    Probably 5 or so more pounds, I want to at least be in the ‘healthy/normal’ range on the BMI charts 🙂

    When I was a member of the ProClub, I figured I’d work out on my own and get stronger, change my diet and see similar results. After I stopped going to the Pro Club, the weight started coming back (quickly). Now, I cleanse and maintain with Isagenix and it’s only taken me one month (30 days) to lose 25 pounds. Now the shakes I drink fill me up, my stomach has shrunk and my craving for not so good foods have subsided. I wish I could say I exercise as much as I want to but that’d be false. I don’t have the funds to pay for Pro Club or the time in my schedule. I do however love Pushups and do about 150 or more a night before bed and have not looked this good since my Pro Club days. Great thing that Pro Club benefit. Unfortunately, I can no longer afford their rates or the time. So I use Isagebix instead.
